For those who simply gotta catch em all - on camera, that is - this guide covers every Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap and every course that they show up in. New Pokémon Snap is a sequel to the Nintendo 64 Pokémon Snap game and is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2021. Many of the Pokemon from the base version of the game also return, including the almost ever-present Magikarp and Vivillon, who between them feature in all but a handful of the game's 30 courses.
This DLC includes three new areas, Secret Side Path, Mightywide River & Barren Badlands, which we have added all Pokémon details to, as well as our PhotoDex which has been updated with over 100 new interactions found and the new LenTalk Missions.
POKEMON SNAP 2 DLC UPDATE
Spread throughout the three areas that were added as part of the update are 20 DLC Pokemon, several of which appear across multiple courses. Updated on Augby Tom Bowen: The recent 2.0 update has helped to breathe fresh new life into New Pokemon Snap, with many players returning to the game to explore its brand new courses. At the time of writing, this checklist contains all of the Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap, as well as each and every one of the courses in which they appear. By keeping track of which Pokemon they're still to photograph, they can at least avoid any unnecessary expeditions though. With this in mind, players will need to complete all of the game's courses multiple times, especially if they want to completely fill out their Photodex. In New Pokémon Snap, you take on the role of a Pokémon researcher who has travelled to the Lental region to assist Professor Mirror with his investigation into the rare Illumina Pokémon.

Many of the Pokemon show up in multiple courses, although some can't be found until after players have reached a certain research level. As of the 2.0 update, New Pokemon Snap features 234 Pokemon in total, including 11 Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, 20 Starter Pokemon, 20 DLC Pokemon, and all of the possible Eeveelutions. New Pokemon Snap's free DLC adds 20 brand new Pokemon, bringing the total number available up to a very respectable 234.
